Best Time to Visit
The Kaas Plateau and waterfalls around Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, and Satara are best experienced during the post-monsoon season from August to December, when nature is at its finest.
NOTE- Waterfalls in Mahabaleshwar/Panchgani / Lonavala would be Kaas plateau is best visited in (post) monsoon from August to December Need to trek for around 1km to access Pateshwar Temple
Tour Plan
Depart from Pune at 7:00 AM and head towards the hill station of Mahabaleshwar. Upon arrival, begin sightseeing with visits to the Krishnabai Temple (Krishna Devi Temple), Mahabaleshwar Mandir, and the sacred Panchganga Temple. Later, explore the breathtaking viewpoints including Elphinstone Point, Arthur Seat Point, and the stunning Bombay/Sunset Point.

After breakfast, continue exploring Mahabaleshwar. Visit Lodwick Point, the serene Venna Lake/Dam, and the popular Elephant’s Head Point & Kate’s Point. Later, enjoy the cascading Lingmala Waterfall and wrap up your day at the famous Mapro Garden for fresh strawberries and local delights.

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Panchgani. Sightseeing highlights include Parsi Point, Sydney Point, the mysterious Devil’s Kitchen, and the vast Table Land plateau, offering panoramic valley views. By evening, proceed to Satara.

Begin your Satara tour with a visit to the divine Natraj Mandir and Sangam Mahuli (Kshetra Mahuli), followed by the historic Ajinkyatara Fort. In the afternoon, head towards the world-famous Kaas Pathar (Kaas Plateau of Flowers), and finally, experience the breathtaking Vajrai Waterfall.

Check out from the hotel and begin the final leg of your tour with visits to Pateshwar Temple (short trek of approx. 1 km required), the spiritual Sajjangad Fort, the mighty Thoseghar Waterfalls, and the picturesque Chalkewadi Windmill Farm. In the evening, drive back and reach Pune by around 9:00 PM.
